EMPLOYER NOMINATED SCHEME PERMANENT RESIDENCE VISA (ENS) SUBCLASS 186

The Employer Nomination Scheme allows an Australian employer to sponsor you for a permanent visa to work anywhere in Australia. This visa is for highly skilled workers in eligible occupations.

REGIONAL SPONSORED MIGRATION SCHEME PERMANENT RESIDENCE VISA (RSMS) SUBCLASS 187

The Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme allows employers in regional Australia to sponsor you for a permanent visa, if you agree to work in designated geographical areas outside of the major cities. This visa is also for highly skilled workers, and has a larger number of eligible occupations for working in regional areas.

For both visa types, you could be either highly skilled workers from overseas, or a highly skilled worker currently in Australia on a temporary visa. Your immediate family members can be included as dependents in your application.

ELIGIBILITY

The employer who wishes to sponsor you must be able to provide evidence that they:

Are an actively and lawfully operating a business in Australia

Have a genuine need for a paid employee to fill a position in their business

Have a good record of following all relevant Australian employment and immigration laws

Have ensured that the position is on list of eligible occupations

Have provided the employee with an offer of ongoing employment in full time position for at least two years

Will offer equitable working conditions and remuneration at a fair market rate

RSMS Applications must also have the nomination approved by the relevant Regional Certifying Board (RCB)

You must prove that you met the eligibility requirements for this visa. This includes factors such as

Relevant qualifications and/or work experience

Licensing or registration (if applicable)

English language ability

Health

Character History
